PS 99 ~ Class of 1955

The 8th grade graduating Class of 1955 of P.S. 99 in Brooklyn will be celebrating their 50th Reunion on June 24-25, 2005.

Thursday, April 28, 2005

Greetings from Your Class President

It's me, Mike, so listen up. Thought a blog would enable us to chat it up even before we see one another at the Reunion in June. So here it is. Let us know what you're up to and what expectations you have of the Reunion. Trips down memory lane most welcome too.

And by the way, what was the #1 song on the hit parade at the time of our 8th Grade Dance? I think I know, I think I know.

Our children and grandchildren may enjoy reading our nostalgic musings as well.

In what year was Eudora Fletcher born and what was her husband's first name?

Can't wait to see you. Don't be a stranger, write or call.

Lovingly,
Michael

p.s. particular thanks and deep gratitude to Helene and Lilly for their extraordinary initiative and hard work in pulling us back together****

Hello Bob. The feeling is mutual. Any memory of 99 you'd like to share with our classmates? See you soon. Michael

Hi Helene - Welcome to the 99 Blog. So who was your favorite teacher and why? I think I'd have to name Miss Melsha in the 4th grade, where I learned to love maps and trees. -- Michael
